Welcome to my website!
I am busy harvesting the vegetables – it was a good year for pumpkins, beans and tomatoes – and working on two new books. Also I have become a Fellow of the Royal Literary Fund and have accepted a weekly teaching job at Worcester University. I am there to help students improve their writing skills. It’s something new for me and I am looking forward to it.
Big is Beautiful! Heath Primary School has over 500 pupils and on World Book Day everyone was excited and enthusiastic. It was a great visit!

The Friends of Leominster Library kindly asked me and my husband, writer Sam Lewellyn, to talk about our books.
It was a lovely evening and we were very pleased to offer our support to our local libraries and hopefully to libraries all over the country.

The International School of Stuttgart was pleased to host Mrs. Karen Wallace as our guest author for Book Week in March, 2012. During the three days Mrs. Wallace was with us, she presented her work to students in the Early Years through Middle Years grades. She prepared carefully and thoughtfully for our students, sending ahead all multimedia materials so that we could test the technology in advance. We found Mrs. Wallace to be an engaging, dynamic visitor who brought the magic of reading and writing books into our school.
