Hereford Cathedral School - A Book Club Sandwich Lunch - September 23 2013

During the lunchtime talk with Book Club members, we discussed all kinds of topics from story telling and characterization to the natural history of eels and log jams on the Gatineau River described in my first novel RASPBERRIES ON THE YANGTZE, set in Canada where I grew up.
We had a lovely time and the sandwiches were delicious.
Here are some comments.
“An excellent visit. You answered all our questions.’ James
“I loved how you talked about your childhood.’ Alex
‘Lunch was great and Karen was very nice.” Michael
“I LOVED your books.” April
So huge thanks to librarian, Rachel Nelson Ayers for asking me and the boys and girls for their enthusiasm and hospitality.
Not forgetting the cook who made all the sandwiches!
