A Day with the Girls at St. Hilda's, Bushey
This October, Book Week kicked off with a visit to St. Hilda’s. We talked about writing novels and I told some stories about growing up in Quebec and particularly about the bad behaviour of a big grey cat called Bogey.

A lovely day at the Linton Literary Festival, May 11, 2014
It was a huge honour to be asked to speak at Linton’s bi-annual festival, May 11th. I had a great audience and we talked about everything from log jams on the Gatineau River in Quebec to Anglo Saxon poetry. Ruth Keys, the librarian at the college, was delighted. “You could have heard a pin drop,” she said.

Heath Primary School on Book World Day 2014
Big is Beautiful! Heath Primary School has over 500 pupils and on World Book Day everyone was excited and enthusiastic. It was a great visit!
