World Book Day at Woodfield Primary, March 2015

World Book Day at Woodfield Primary, March 2015

Woodfield Primary is a huge school, in fact two schools joined together, in the middle of Wolverhampton. I was delighted when Year 4 teacher Vicki Coyle asked me to be their special guest on World Book Day.
The children wore wonderful costumes for the occasion and I really enjoyed talking to them all. For some of the talks, there were well over a hundred boys and girls and everyone listened hard and asked lots of good questions. We talked about everything from snakes to suspension bridges to making ice cream. It was a brilliant day.
