Towards the end of Book Week, I went to Bilton Grange to talk to the older half of the school about writing novels and creating characters. Sometimes it’s hard. Just like it was hard for Sisyphus, the ancient greek who was doomed to push a rock up a hill all day, every day for as long as he lived. Well, maybe novel writing is a little bit easier than that!
I hadn’t thought of Sisyphus for years but everyone knew who he was and one clever boy could even spell his name!
